Paul never met Jesus.
They weren't contemporaries, BUT...
Jesus' Divine Light knocked Paul / Saul off his horse AND blinded him. Then spoke to him.
quote:
ACTS 9:3-4
As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

If Jesus could have knocked Saul off his horse and temporarily blinded him in order to get his attention, I’m certain Jesus could have taken him out the game if Paul misrepresented Jesus and the gospel.
*nodding*
You are wise.

If you know this to be true why the hell do you all insist on trying? Just stay in your lane.

Is it? Then why are there so many different variations of Christianity, or even other religions for that matter?

I mean, Paul was kind of a jerk. What was the word that was yikes? Been a while since I read Corinthians numero uno.
Jerk= man who unabashedly speaks the uncomfortable truth. This is one reason why I
have such trouble finding a church. Once churches start picking and choosing what they want to follow and what they dont, it tells me they dont believe the Bible is the inspired word of God. If you believe that, im immediately out.

I’m sure you pick and choose what you want to follow too.

I sin if thats what you are implying. What I dont do is sin and them as a "pastor" tell you that its actually ok

Never forget, Eve screwed it up for us all.
Wen Eve finished making love with Adam, she started towards the creek to clean up. Adam, after wiping himself with fig leaves yelled out to Eve, oh no, the fish.,

There are plenty of false teachers. Even amongst the Early Church there were differences. The whole point of Paul was to provide doctrinal guidance for the Church. If you ignore Paul, you ignore the inspired word of God.

There isn’t a mainline denomination with a woman pastor
S0 Lutherans (since 1970), Episcopals(1976), Presbyterians (1956), and Methodists (1956) are not mainline denominations?
Who knew.

Mainline has nothing to do with it. Jesus said the way to destruction is broad but the gate to life is narrow.

Don't forget Anglicans.
Episcopals are mainline Anglicans in the US. They are part of the Anglican Communion affiliated with the Church of England from which all mainline Anglicans are derived.

Got to be a United Methodist church huh? Especially with her pronoun introduction.

1 Timothy 2:11-12
verses 13-14 give the reasoning

Nah. She's in a subdivision of the Lutheran denomination.

So sorry that God's word conflicts with your modern day feminist beliefs. Maybe you should take it up with Him
