He has proven his point for 15 years. He isn't alone...lots of people doing it. Some pretty sizeable employers get by for years not remitting all of the withholding they do....it is not uncommon and very few ever suffer any real consequences because it is, as they say, hard to get blood from a turnip....

I have an ex-coworker who is paranoid about her data and refuses to get a smartphone because of it. To get into work systems you needed to use a verification app and since she refuses to get a smartphone they had to mail her some piece of hardware to be compliant.

My dad was a rice farmer for 18 years and got paid cash. Never filed his taxes. It's now biting him in the arse because he doesn't get that much from social security.

I know somebody that went to prison for a couple of years for not remitting his employees withholding. Plus had to pay all the money back.

I know of someone who is moving from the French quarter because now that trump is in office, she can’t walk home from work anymore ????
