There is just so much trolling and/or ignorant comments. 90% of the shite there could be posted by an 8 year old and it completely destroys even the slightest intellectual discussions that take place.

Yes, but a lot of us have experience with this and would love to answer. I hate going to the tech board because it does have a ton of fools.
Gamers are usually gadget geeks and PC gamers usually have a interest in tech overall.
Then again, we do need them separated.. But do miss some of those questions.

Sure, but there isn't enough posting activity where one would really supplant the other. The Gaming Board has 10 threads on the first page that are 17 pages or longer. The discussions there tend to be isolated to long threads which means it could fit within the Tech Board pretty seamlessly IMO.
I'd argue that the Food and Drink board should be included in the OT board, but the posting volume on those two boards would make that a futile attempt.
As a spinoff to the OP, I'd like to see a NSFW board that was a bit more carefree than what is allowed on the OT. That could also allow things like the Travel Board and the Music Board to get brought back to the OT.

Honestly have made money from the gaming board. Bitcoins, not with mining but buying low and selling high off/on over these last 2.5yrs.

None of them are useless. Like everyone said, it keeps the other boards clean of topics. Before most of these boards, the topics all blurred together in a few central locations. You may not like the gaming board, but I can guarantee you would not like it when the front page of the OT is covered in call of duty or the new NCAA football game threads.

Tech questions where posted on the OT back in the day, and it was a massive shite show. Yes if they posted something on the Gaming Board (which was honestly only like 1 out of 15 or so post) it was usually answered pretty quickly and well... but even the Gaming Board people would troll them sometimes.
But seriously, anyone saying Gaming board is stupid.
