It's a good way to see what coworkers are actively looking for a new job. They go in and put a new pic of them up in a suit, fluff up their resume, and add a lot of incomplete sentences in all caps.

I have over 500 connections on it. On your news feed, you see posts liked by every connection of yours.

Used to be good until attention deprived hoes and fat chicks took it over. If it isn’t about them, it’s people who don’t know what they have between their legs spewing more rainbow themes about their workplace.

Almost every post is about some fake stories that didn’t happen or why someone who is unemployed for 6 months is a good thing because “follow your dreams” etc B.S

Fully agree. 500+ connections as well. Linkedin has become Humblebragger central as well. "So honored to have worked on such a gratifying project". Reading all the self congratulatory back patting makes me want to puke.

It doesn’t do a lot of good but it can do harm. I have seen idiots meltdown on there and completely trash a former employer who is connected to everyone.

It's like facebook for professionals, without your crackpot grandparents sharing political memes

Instead you have "HR professionals/recruiters" making up stories for likes.

Here is what happened today:

It was pouring down rain outside. A homeless man lies dead on the sidewalk. I invite him in and hand him a job application. He didn't have any skills, but I offer him a job anyway. He is now the CEO.

Moral of the story: you never know unless you give someone a chance!!!!
