I would buy a sawzall or bolt cutter and break into the lot and steal your wiper blades back.
I hear there is huge demand on the black market for wiper blades that have only been on a car for a few days. May get a couple hundred bucks for them.

you really worried about the $15 you spent on new windshield wipers?

You need Juan Lafonta. He fights.

I'd go thru my local insurance agent and let them do the repairs and the local insurance company will bill the out of state company for the cost.

a well known insurance company who offered me 2k more than I would of asked for
They wanted to settle quickly with no lawyers. Since their client was responsible, it was worth 2k to settle.
The OPs case is different. Being a single car accident, the OP was likely at fault.

Maybe the market in his area exceeded the NADA value. Happens sometimes and can be thousands in difference.

Sounds like you'll be disappointed no matter what because you're over-valuing the car based on the fact that you had oil changes on regular schedule, got new wipers and didn't eat in the car. The tires might help a little bit on value but dont expect to get anything more than NADA value for very good or excellent condition

I totaled my 7 year old truck last year. Got back almost as much as I paid for it

Eventually you will learn that a car is not loved one, even if you love it.
No matter how much you stroke it, massage it, or don't eat in it, it's still just a tool of transportation.
The rest of the world doesn't value your damn car as your lover. If you love it that much, don't take it out on the road and risk harm by others. Ohh, you wrecked it all own your own, that's right.
Don't fall in love with the next one.
