Lightning bugs are still all over the place

usually they thin out by july but they are still all over the place at my house like little fairies.

is this due to climate change?

i'm not complaining..nothing like sitting on the porch in the middle of the summer with a good whiskey watching lightning bugs.

I didn't see any for a long time. Then LP stops their mosquito abatement program due to lack of funding... and now they're everywhere.
