Generally the only poors @ Heavenly are the workers, but there are always a few trust fund babies just living the dream giving ski lessons. Inside the resorts are seasonal workers from Argentina mostly.

I hiked 6 miles up that trail in the summer at Heavenly and they made us hike our arse back down the full 6 miles when we were 0.2 miles from the lift. All due to a thunder storm. We did 12 miles expecting to do 6

I just told my wife this story and referenced that we rode this gondola before. She swears she’s never ridden it with me. I would currently prefer to be in that gondola than in this house.
