I’m working on a drainage project, and I’d like to find some high res lidar to help. This is in the BR area.
Any good sources?

Not sure if it has what you need, but give LSU AgCenter flood maps a google search and check it out.

Depends how high res and accurate you want.
Personal or work project? LSU should have something free you can access if you're looking to ball park a cost of a home project.
I wouldn't submit cost estimates based solely off of it.

I don’t have any good free sources but I will tell you to check the data date and make sure it’s still relevant. I use lidar data sets a lot and they seems to be aging much faster than the databases are getting updated because more and more companies are going with synthetic scenes from oblique imagery.

Ferdinand de Lesseps and George Washington Goethals didn’t need no LIDAR.

What resolution are you needing? And are you able to use QGIS or ArcGIS to format the data for your use? I can maybe help. I make custom hillshade maps but have used the same data sources for maps in the BR area for informal purposes. I made one for a friend interested in a small pond build, for example.
