Somewhere I have a T-shirt from Seneca Rocks with that mantra on it.

Funny enough when I got home from work and was going to plant some flowers for my wife I dug into my old ratty T-shirt drawer and this was one of the ones on the top:

The Gendarme is the name of a climbing store there but it is named for a little spire of rock that used to be at Seneca rocks but fell down in the late 80's. It was only 30 feet tall and was super easy (5.4) but it was a rite of passage for every climber that went to Seneca. When I bought that T-shirt the Gendarme was still standing... it is kinda old.

The Gendarme when it was still standing, it with the two crags beside it were called the Gunsight Notch for rather obvious reasons.

Won state title in gymnastics, All-Around, plus floor and vault in my division. Went on the win #1 at vault in the Regional competition. Pretty cool. Then my Achilles completely ruptured the next season. Good times.

Good lord. Wonder what his pitch count was? 200?

When we played that team earlier in the season, that same pitcher pitched all 7 innings of game 1 and the first 3 innings of game 2. He could throw five different pitches "normally" and could throw all of them side arm. He hit low 90s fast ball and had a knuckle ball. He was unbelievable. He played for Hinds County Community College.

I finished in the top percentile of participants during the Presidential Physical Fitness challenge back in the day. This was open to all 8th graders across the country, so I was elite during that point in my life.

Got a technical foul called on me in the last seconds of the finals of a basketball tournament and lost the game for us. From the bench.

Oh, sorry. I thought you said most embarrassing moment.

In high school baseball, I once walked-off the other team. (I struck out on a curveball in the dirt and the ball got away from the catcher. Runner from 3rd scored.)
