The broad rotation from the existing line near Thomasville is pretty impressive.

This really has become a broken line of storms. That has probably contributed to the uptick in tornado activity.
It definitely has. It has allowed the embedded cells to take advantage of the instability that is there. Easier for the individual cells to tap into that instability and maximize it. There was always plenty enough shear, and once they got some room to work, they took off.

Ryan Hall Y'all just retweeted video from near the LA/MS border near Slidell where a storm chaser said he was likely directly impacted by a tornado earlier... blew out a window in his chase vehicle

I might be high but I think there's two tornadoes on the ground boxing Semmes near Mobile.

Could be both.

That velocity near the radar site is/was wild.

All those polygons around Mobile looks like they gave a 3 year old some colors and a map.

NWS agrees
They both popped on CC for a minute

That Brent storm will likely get warmer again.

That was wild. Some really strong winds smashed through the radar site and spun up some storms.

I could be wrong, but I believe this Mobile storm is the same one that started to get going just south of Eden Isles in LA.
