Another total incompetent moron from out of state that could care less about the city. The mayor, president of city council, S&WB, City chief administrative officer all imported and destroying the city.

What could Kirkpatrick have done to prevent this?
What type of barricades did they have in place? The lightweight plastic sawhorse type that just let drivers the road is closed to vehicular traffic but don't stop anyone or the concrete barriers that you see in road construction areas that actually protect the workers. If the former then they are complete idiots, especially after the attack in Germany. Not hardening the streets is inexcusable and calls for a through investigation to root out those responsible.

All I know is that if I was gonna commit a crime and I saw her there as the only line of defense, it wouldn't phase me at all to continue my tpos ways.

She’s been a better and seemingly more effective NOPD head than anyone else in recent history. Considering the circumstances she inherited she’s done a good job
except for hitting pedestrians with her car.

Let's also discuss Homeland Security. Nola has a designated person for Homeland Security and all across the country this massive agency was created in response to 9/11. Has it made us safer from these types of events?
