People actually do an exhaust delete, which removes the muffler. I have seen videos of people doing this to new(ish) vehicles, including a 2022 Grand Wagoneer. It must be the poor man's way of getting Flowmaster.

The only cars that should have loud exhausts are sports cars.

Deep down, a lot of folks who scream "look at me" have serious issues. Females in my circle always say these guys are compensating for being small in stature or in wiener size, but it runs deeper.
Of course in some cases, guys just like souped-up and/or loud and/or tricked-out vehicles. It's a hobby. It's fun for them.
Sometimes it startles other motorists though, which can be dangerous.

Loud exhaust can be aggravating but what gets me are the $500 cars rattling with the $1200 stereo systems.

Akin to someone's vehicle being worth more than their house/trailer.

What’s really disturbing about this trend is the fact that it’s often the v6 Camaro/chargers/challengers/mustangs. They all sound like shite

Now days, most people probably just have their converters cut and continue to drive around.

It's actually the opposite. We are not worried about your car. We'd rather not know that it exists.
You're bothering people. That's the problem. We are trying to eat dinner and you think you're in fast and Furious because you managed to save $5500 and blow it all.

It’s obvious who in this thread is suffering from low T.

Around here it's pickup trucks. Extra points for the turbo-diesel a-hole.
