Let's discuss people who stand in the street in traffic waiting for the bus

Do they think it makes the bus come faster?

It's statistically proven to actually make the bus go faster.

No, but they are God damn ready to get on when it finally does stop.

Can we discuss why city buses take up the far right lane for 2-3 light cycles to pick people up. Hollyyy SHeeit, if everyone is so ready to get on, why does it take so damn long for the bus to keep moving?

fricking people do this every morning on the corner of Tulane Ave and galvez. I turn onto galvez to get to our parking lots and almost hit someone every damn morning because they are out in the street

They lack basic biological survival instincts.

quote:you realize there are a lot of older people that can't get around well that ride on Busses right? Also anyone in a wheelchair has to be secured and unsecured by the driver.

I don't get why people stick their nose up to public transportation so often.

They need to be conditioned. Drive in the right lane and hit the water puddles that always seem to form right in front of the bus stop.

Believe it or not, they actually try to schedule bus routes so transfers can connect without waiting a long time for the next bus. If a bus is ahead of schedule, it's not uncommon for it to wait a few minutes at a major transfer hub to get back on time.

Fair enough.

This is the closest I've come to public transportation.
