ER docs are usually going to refer you to another Dr.
Here's a link to the classifications; there may be a reference in your rad report.

Thanks. That info is helpful. i am just trying to understand all of this so when i see the doctor, I will have some understanding of that he is saying.
I have had kidney surgery before (a PNL) where they cut into my kidney to get a staghorn stone that was the size of a newborns hand.
Maybe it is just scar tissue showing up. the stone had grown all up thru the branches of that kidney so likely caused scarring all throughout it.

" Kids" have always been off limits with the shite talk
Chicken doesnt even half to enforce it, the board does
because someone's child, that's not something we make fun of. This board is FULL OF ASSHOLES, but there is a code
but its OK to make fun of someone struggling to have a family ?
her fiance should have shot her while he was at it

You know as well as I do how I feel about that.

Yes I do
Im really surprised more/ others havent called her out on it
she started a thread asking for Medical opinions, then attacks people trying to help.
Hell, I read NUrse reply as being somewhat comforting, "abnormal doesn't mean a problem" just outside "norms"
and those downvoting me rant,, im gonna start attacking your family
COME AT ME BRO

Some don’t come here for help. They want to sympathy or want to complain. GK life seems to be one big soap opera. She brings that here for a reason.
Nurse is just nurse. There’s no BS just straight shooting commentary. Like it or not, no reason to take it outside of here.

Are they of the French foreign variety?

Reduced kidney function. Stage 3 Kidney disease. You need to go see your doctor to see what’s causing it. You’ll probably be referred to a kidney specialist, a nephrologist.

Over a couple of weeks you are in severe pain & lose 25 pounds then suddenly it’s so bad you go to the ER?
quote:
Urinatng massive blood, passing out and a kidney stone are no reason to go to the ER?
There are more issues here than the physical ones being described

My GP's office 100 miles away and he is closed on Fri-sat-sun so that wasn't an option
Wouldn't it be a good idea to have a PCP a little closer than 100 miles away?

This kook is exactly the reason I try not to even mention meaningless crap like renal cysts, colonic diverticuli, and degenerative disc disease in my reports

Pain meds suck. I wish they could just use lidocane injections on the painful parts, that would be dream come true. (lidoderm patches dont work well at all. If they did they would be a miracle)

'm just mystified that they found so much abnoral and failed to inform me of it.
It's really hard to find a good doc. What do they recommend for your diverticulitis?
