Do they have cameras? If so, hopefully the footage has not been overwritten. Should have a date/time shot of when they went in with no damage and when they came out with damage.

Passenger side mirror on 2011 Lariat cost me ~$900 at the dealership
It had the blinker in it, was power folding, and was paint matched (some just have black plastic housings)

Ok but that is different. There is an exclusion in most personal auto policies for valet drivers. That is the issue. His PAP, if it has this exclusion, will not compensate him for damage as the result of an accident occurring while a valet is driving.
