Maybe they want an outside independent investigation that doesn't have to answer to Ferguson or the Mayor. 3rd party would seperate any possibility of information being suppressed or likeliness of faulty findings that can be torn apart at a later time.

Absolutely. When she starts to spew her word salad in a presser, which includes emphasizing random words in an often nonsensical manner, she constantly reminds the listener that she is mayor of the City of New Orleans and working, HARD, EVERY DAY, to solve the problems of the City of New Orleans. Blah, blah, blah... like we thought she was talking about Omaha or something.
Impromptu speaking, especially in a Q and A format, is difficult for many people. But when you're a dimwit and/or drunk, the problem is exacerbated. LaToya, in my opinion, falls into this category.

Wonder what the family dynamic is between JP Morrell and his two brothers, ex-NOPD cops now under fed investigation for payroll fraud? Of course, their parents have fed from the political trough themselves for decades and were repeatedly re-elected despite their own dubious behavior.
