Miss Danielle Dionne Watkins and Mr. Jeffrey Paul Vappie II were united in marriage April 27 at Asbury United Methodist Church in New Orleans, with the Rev. Andrew Douglas officiating. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reginald Watkins and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vappie. A reception followed the ceremony at the Champagne Palace.

The bride, whose mother is the former Miss Sonia Veronica Draughn, was graduated from Walla Walla High School and the University of New Orleans, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in general studies. She is pursuing a master’s degree in education from Xavier University. She is employed as a teacher in New Orleans.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jessie Draughn and Mrs. Gilbert Watkins and the late Mr. Watkins.

Mr. Vappie, whose mother is the former Miss Julia Bea Brumfield, was graduated from Warren Easton High School and attended Delgado Community College. He is employed by the New Orleans Police Department as a police detective.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Brumfield and Mrs. Beverly Labou Vappie and the late Mr. Vappie.

The couple will reside in New Orleans.

Sounds like Teedy is getting worked by her security while she works in that apartment.

Lee Zurik still going in dry on this woman. Tonight’s segment was great. We have come from using the city apartment when she shouldn’t, using it when she shouldn’t while banging her detail to using it when she shouldn’t while banging her detail and not working seemingly at all.

It’s hard to fathom the mayor going entire days without a call or email, but she does just that multiple times.

Do you realize just how hard it is to make the decisions she has to make. It takes days sometimes to formulate the correct decision and then say Yes or No. I don't understand why people dismiss her ability to analyze issues for days on end without interruption.

Seemed like more investigation into her not working. Going through her calendar, hasn’t met with certain department heads in years, basically doesn’t start her work day until 10am, is seemingly never at city hall, etc. . I suppose it could have already aired but was on the 10pm segment this evening.

How much money will he get when he sues the city? No one would F that load with out sexual harassment being involved.
