I know it makes me a commie, but I think gas powered leaf blowers should be outlawed unless you are a commercial operation that is going customer to customer all day long. Obviously gas powered makes more sense for that operation.

God damn we have become a society of absolute little girl bitches.

Its a noise, it wont kill you Get over it.

The real insanity are grass cutters that blow dust and dirt back into the yard.

People that move into neighborhoods then bitch about neighbors baffle me.

You have freely chosen to live in close proximity to other humans.

WTF is wrong with leaves. Why can't people just let them alone?

Its hard to separate the clippings from the dirt and dust. And the clippings must go back. Dont leave that shite in the street.

For a lawn cutting company, probably the right choice so they can get to the next yard.

I sweep my dirt/clippings, though.

In our old neighborhood we had a guy who would wash his cars every Thursday and dry them with a leaf blower. Not a big deal because he did it in the afternoon. But then he started washing his son's car Saturday morning and cranking it up at 6:30 am which was annoying. Did it for a few weeks until I and another neighbor mentioned it in passing to his wife and he then he moved drying time to 8.

All of my neighbors and myself use different yard cutters. So at least 5-6 days a week I hear at some point lawn mowers, weed eaters, and blowers. Even though I work from home, I just deal with it. You'll be ok.

What moronic logic makes you think this is a reasonable thought?

Literally constant leaf blowers in the fall. We are about to start the mayhem.

We live on 1-2 acre lots with heavy landscaping and hedge rows. If my neighbors use the leaf blower, I would barely notice.

No HOA either!

That being said it’s about to rain leaves for a month straight.

I would get a battery powered leaf blower and rig it with a whistle just to piss off your HOA even more

He's already been facebook shamed on the HOA page. Now I think he's doing it just to piss people off.

Of course he has. Has anyone simply walked up to him and asked him to stop?

I have a neighbor like this. Annoyed me a little but then I realized he has 6 children all under the age of what seems like 10 or 12 so I understand. He just wants to be left alone. Big Aub. Started it up about halfway through the game yesterday.

frick that. roll over the leaves with the lawn mower ..

I did two winters in a row where I raked up the leaves and bagged them. Then it occurred to me to just let the lawn guy come out once a month and mulch them up. I was an idiot.
