You use way less bags when you use reusable. I rarely use them, but when I do, I love being able to sling 3 of them on my back and carry a week+ of shite. No double trips to the car.

And you can use them for other things like bathroom trash liners or carrying lunches to work. That's kind of recycling.

If I'm being completely honest I don't recycle anything. I use our recycle can for an overflow trash can. Rain in the downvotes

I do that in my garage ice box, but that ice box is strictly for drinks and leftover boiled seafood

Not in most cities. Baton Rouge doesn’t recycle them. Cost too much. And most grocery stores that say they collect them actually just throw them in the trash

I use very large canvas bags. They hold a lot of groceries and weight.
