Whatever man. You don't know them and have no personal experience with them. But want to shite on them because they don't look like baws? Not here to argue with you but I can say this they grew up building houses and "swinging hammers".
No successful homebuilder of any scale is still swinging the hammer himself.

I'd say try Lowe's if you want to buy boxes but Walmart, Rouses, grocery stores may have tons of them.

Try HD or any place that rents trucks.

"There are seven transmission line corridors feeding into the Lake Charles area, five of which belong to Entergy. All seven have been catastrophically damaged."

Sounds like I'll be using all of that 120 gallons of diesel I have.

Anyone know what the plans are to clean up demolished homes? Do you just push them to the roadside?
Posted on 9/2/20 at 12:05 pm to MorbidTheClown
Not taking away from anything that Katrina brought. But if the levees don’t fail, she is not as bad a storm as this one....... this storm just plain messed shite up with its winds and everything else....

Yes. Put everything by the roadside. Don’t have to separate. There will be three pick ups and then you’re on your own with the dump.

No offense if you know them, but they look like hipster HGTV types. Probably never actually swung a hammer and are simply paper contractors. Maybe I am wrong but that's the vibe I get.
Totally wrong. Their dad and uncle built houses. So they've been doing the actual work their whole lives.

Mississippi was pretty fricked up

Yes it was..... but not as bad as what the SW coast of LA is looking at... we are talking months and months to recover from this and even get back to a somewhat normal life.........

I mean thats how it was in Mississippi.
All 82 counties were declared disaster areas and 49 were eligible for full federal assistance.
People were killed in 13 counties.
A third of the state's population lost power.
1 in 6 Mississippians applied for federal aid.
You had hurricane force winds all the way up into Jackson.
The recovery was especially difficult because so many resources were going to New Orleans, you had people in Bay St Louis/Waveland area living in tents until Christmas. Dude I know that lived north of Jackson said they didnt have power for 10 days.
