The parade of destroyed Russian military machines is a part of this year's Ukraine's Independence Day celebration, planned for Aug. 24.
They need farmers towing the tanks and at least one piece of artillery with a banana-peeled tube.

That was common practice until fertilizer became inexpensive enough to not need fallow years. I well remember the rice fields of SW LA as a kid. It was rice, then cattle, then soybeans though that may not be the order of rotation.

All you need for fertilizer are some chickens and goats and a fallow field then legumes then corn rotate annually. Some things like winter peas can also be used as part of the rotation. No fertilizer needed. Should be common practice around the world.
It could be but farmers would not be able to have the yields to feed the world. Especially since 25-33% (depending on if it is a 3 crop or 4 crop rotation cycle) of farm land being fallow every year.

Looks like a close call for Alexander Dugin this evening. Not going to post the video.

I doubt you are going to get 40+ bushels an acre of wheat with chicken shite and rotating nitrogen-fixing crops.

We still do it a little for our deer plots a little. Just a way of not having to haul in a bunch of fertilizer obviously we don't do goats and chickens but you can still rotate and some crops or nitrogen fixing or phosphorus fixing. I am still a firm believer in deer having a diverse food selection. We have several acres of hardwoods in and around pines. Pretty nice to sit in my folks dining room and watch deer out the window eating white oak acorns when they drop. There is something they eat in the front yard that is a mix of weeds and maybe rye grass. Maybe that's what it is. I just think that style of farming is not only more nutritious but reduces run off and long term drought irrigation problems. I'm definitely interested in the long term effects on this war and agriculture. I think it will be a perfect incubation bubble for testing modern day agriculture/nutrition needs and doing so in a more ecological friendly manner. Mass crop production is going to eventually devastate the Midwest. There are plenty of issues on slaughter house and logistical problems stateside that need to be addressed specifically government subsidies and red tape. Used to you could raise a family on 200 milk cows. It's impossible these days.

That is not how it works in real life. Deer plot is one thing, an operating farm is another.

Do the Ukes have the necessary ability to control the airspace enough to deploy Hogs? I don't know much about tactics and strategy above tree top level but it seems like they would be very vulnerable to fast movers. I know they have chaff and flares along with MWS and JMR maybe ECM too but they just seem like easy pickings for MiGs. The only times I needed A-10 support was when we had complete air supremacy so I don't know if it is needed or not.

There are quite a few self sustainable farms in the US on a fairly large scale. Some of which were purchased at a huge discount because they were deemed unfarmable. We have been taking shortcuts for years now and most of what we grow isn't nutritious. It is for ethanol or some other end product most of which is exported. To say we can't do it is a lie. Corporate farming is destroying our land. Corporations want money now and will pawn off the land in the future after realigning it and have it as a tax write-off or get disaster relief from the feds when it this the problem corporations, lobbyists, and the feds created. We have one of if not the best arable land in the world and we are slowly destroying it.
There is a huge market for stuff that isn't mass produced but all that ends up in high end restaurants it is the reason Americans are fat. And one of the main reasons why we have ethanol made from corn in our gasoline.

Sorry for long story but it absolutely should be in the backs of Ukrainian or Russia long term goals. Ukraine or Russia extended is gonna need food to feed their populace. Not everything can be bought with oil dollars in the future

I hope that you realize that those corporations are set up by local farmers as LLC's. In fact almost all the ethanol plants are actually owned by local farmers as 51% ownership. It doesn't matter whose name is on the sign.
One neighbor had been cautioning his brother, a contract and sharecropping farmer in NW Iowa, about committing all of his crop to the ethanol plant he has part ownership in due the price was about $2 more per bushel. Oh, it's the same corn used to make cornmeal and corn on the cob at your local grocer, or for export. He got lucky for several years as his crop yield was the same as he booked for sale with the ethanol plant. Otherwise, he would have had to buy what he was short of from the open market.
As far as chemicals being made from "food" that has been going on for well over 100 years, maybe even as much as 150, especially with corn.

Ukraine has rich soil with a layer of top soil easily on par with the Great Plains. Those trench systems show easily 6 feet of topsoil to me. This is far better than the farmland almost anywhere in the South except the Atchafalya Basin and Mississippi Delta between Vicksburg and Memphis, on both sides of the river.
