I used to be a late night TV junkie. It all started with Carson. Then Letterman and later Craig Ferguson. All of them genuinely funny and entertaining. With or without a guest. (although Letterman got kind of bitter at the end)
Today's late night host's are just another branch of MSNBC.

AND THEY AREN'T FUNNY.

None of the late night hosts have ever been anything other than liberal. But Letterman, Leno, Carson were actually funny.

the current crowd is so eaten up with TDS, they aren't even clever.

Conan makes me chuckle, but not enough to warrant tuning in regularly.

I used to watch them sometimes. I'm usually asleep by then now and haven't watched in years.

They are unwatchable. My wife woke me from a sound easy chair sleep last night because I had the remote control and it was on Jimmy Kimmel and it was insufferable. What is sad is that it isn't even funny. They are so eaten up with TDS that they have lost any sense of humor they ever had. Makes me long for the days of the boring Jay Leno.

As much as I grew to dislike Leno, he is a huge step up from the losers that now run the show. Colbert is the worst of them all. He's tried to turn The Late Show into The Daily Show, which sucks. Late Night talk shows should be light and funny. They shouldn't be overly political and try-hard edgy, which is what Kimmel and Colbert are doing. They've ruined late night talk shows.

The only one left who's worth a damn is Conan.

Wake up early, go to bed early, so have never watched much. Fallon would get my vote, as he seems the least political.
