I don’t care how good the drummer is I can’t stand the singer’s voice.
Why is that always the argument? The drummer is good?
I also have personal reasons to despise the country though my hate for rush predates all of that.

They’re all good. Geddy is phenomenally talented on da bass. His voice, I agree, is unique and not for everyone. Alex is also a stellar guitarist, he’s just so overshadowed by Neil and geddy that’s he’s more of an afterthought.
2112 is a musical masterpiece. La villa strangiato is another amazingly complex epic. They play in unique time signatures, switch time signatures mid song and pull off a lot more complex compositions that other bands simply don’t have the chops to pull off.
And then there’s YYZ.
