That dry arse ball of Sysco rice looks suspect.

MS, chocolate gravy is good

white sausage gravy
Ours always ended up being more beige, but our sausage was always 60/40 venison and boar so that may have been a reason.

I do appreciate that Kcrad made them correctly in a cast iron though. My exes family made them in cake pans or casserole dishes and the base was either not firm enough for support, or the top was too firm from making the base firm.

Biscuits all over the south are pretty good. Some of my favorites not homemade by me or family were some butter swim biscuits this lady from NC made for us on a hiking trip one time. They were like a cross between a cathead and the original Popeye biscuits, back when they didn't choke you with their dryness like they did the last time I had them.

It is nasty and bitter no matter how you spell it. Honey is also delicious as Teech pointed out and I forgot to include.

I honestly don't recall what all she said was in it. I do know they were super soft, buttery, and disappeared quickly with some of the cherry jam she served with it that was perfectly sweet and tart to go with the almost savory flavor of the biscuit itself.

ga Clean. I have no idea. I am in and out. I have a 107 lb. puppy sleeping on my leg, and a 140 lb Tinka trying to sleep on my shoulder. They are scared of the thunder.
