Who has had it done? I'm close to -6 in both eyes with astigmatism.

No idea but it’s probably too long of a list to post here.

It's definitely worth lookin into to determine if you are a candidate for the surgery. Everyone is different. It was well worth the $2,600 spent 15 years ago when that kind of money didn't come that easy for me. No problems and no regrets.
Procedure was a piece of cake, very little discomfort after surgery. Only meds I remember taking are one valium just before the procedure and three Tylenol PM after. They want you to sleep for a few hours after to keep your eyes closed and avoid pain.
If I remember correctly, I was about -1.8/-2.0 astigmatism. Procedure was at about 8 AM and my vision was remarkably improved by 8 PM. It tested 20/20 at my post-op a day or two after.

Agree with sostan. Best money I ever spent.

I agree with the guys above. Best money ever spent. I was around -3.5 in both eyes with a little astigmatism. Most places do a free consultation.

Had it last year. Its life changing. You wake up the next day and wonder why you didn't get it years ago. Procedure itself takes less than 10 minutes.
The best way to describe it is like those superhero movies where someone is exposed to a chemical agent or bitten by a spider and they wake up the next morning with this new power.

“Best money I ever spent” will be something that’s heard a lot from people who’ve had it.
I was around 7.50, 7.75. Had the ZLasik. $5500 later, perfect vision.
The only issue was the Valium they gave me caused drowsiness during the procedure. The burning hair smell caused by the machine didn’t bother me. You will not be able to drive that day. Mainly I laid down in a dark room & listened to music. Next day I was driving.
The halo effect is very real, & wearing those goggles to sleep in for a week or two can be annoying, but it’s extremely worth it.

Some of the best money I've ever let go of.

I used Dr. Singer in Metairie, it's a whole new world out there now. Easily one of the top 5 decisions I ever made.
Recovery time was like 12 hours, really simple

I was -5.5 in one eye and -6 in the other. $2000 later, I had 20/10 vision. Dr Singer in Metairie. Had the lasik in the morning, slept the rest of the day off with ambien, then went back to work and normal life the next day
