How backed up is the bridge from Westlake to Moss Bluff? I can’t imagine an hour backup from LC to Sulphur, even with the loop closed.

It’s ridiculous, it’s all really ridiculous. I have to cross one of the bridges every week day. The 1st Sulphur exit to downtown LC or Lake street if going 210 during rush hours is easily 1 hour or more. Maybe 45 minutes to Moss Bluff but I only go that way when I have something going on at the retreat center there once a month or so.

There’s no denying it. I really don’t understand how people can sit there and lie to themselves.

It’s easy to act like you know it all when you never leave your comfort zone. Many people work and live in their bubble and never get out to know whether I’m wrong or right.

I drive the interstate everyday, Westlake to sulphur in morning then sulphur to downtown back to Westlake in the afternoon. Routinely I make it in the 30 min from sulphur to downtown lc so long as I don't leave sulphur after 430.

It's bad. Not denying that but not as bad as ok made it seem. I was taking up for him earlier but then he went all dumbass.

And going to moss bluff in the afternoon is an hour from Westlake if after 5pm. Getting out of Westlake to interstate is 30-40 min.

As far as restaurants,

Luna, 1910, calla, 121, Villa, pujo, chart house, mazens, harrliquin, la truff savage just to name a few. LC has a shite ton of good restaurants. I didn't even include casino restaurants and stuff nor any of the smaller not upscaleish places.

Good luck to anybody coming through Lake Charles today heading east, traffic on the interstate is fricked up beyond belief. Traffic on both interstates is backed up past sulphur.

Lake Charles traffic is not even as bad as Lafayette. Baton Rouge is hands down worst in the State by far.

It's heading east that's bad. West is fine, east is a damn soup sandwich.

You clearly didn’t read the original post and understand it. Let me help.

I said that lake Charles traffic on I-10 is worse right now than br traffic on I-10. This has nothing to do with surface streets. Just talking about crossing the lake vs crossing the river. Travel from Texas to Lafayette east bound then come back and talk

Yea I would advise anybody and everybody not to do that today. It's bad today, well over an hour to get through sulphur/LC east bound.
