Sounds like this group is scheduling events hoping protesters show up to get more attention

The only high school in Lafayette that looks like a NOLA or BR public school.

So if you don't want the sissies reading to your kid couldn't you just not send your kid to sissy story time? Could it really be that simple?

I ran into some random lady Saturday on the walking trails in DFW with a Ragin Cajuns T-SHIRT ON.

I reminded her that La Tech kicks their arse at football.

She screams back - "But we are about softball and we kick ya'lls arse"

Ha Ha who gives a shite about softball

Im pretty sure the main issue is that govt money and resources would be used for this. And not to mention that with the age of most kids attending story time at the library being very young, “whats a drag queen” is not really an appropriate conversation to be having.

If you want to have drag queens reading to kids, maybe a business that is supportive of LBGQTWXYZ issues can donate their business location to host this event and if parents want to bring their kids, then so be it. If not, then they don't.

In my ooinion though, most really young kids would just look at the person as someone in a costume and not put two and two together that this man reading to me always dresses like a woman.

Parmen comes over from the alt-right Politics board to try to stir up some fear about a freaking drag queen story hour at the library. Who cares? Robideaux is off base here. Drag queens walk all over New Orleans every day and no one bats an eye. This is just fake outrage designed for political appeal to idiots like Parmen.

Well if you just don’t go, your kids aren’t influenced.

Then vote against the library tax when it’s up for a vote this fall and bombard the local politicians to gut funding for the library and get rid of its libtard director.

Problem solved.

The president of the library's board resigned last week because of this shitstorm.

It doesn't seem to have helped.
