Hey you Lafayette Baws, I'm looking into getting a security system installed in my house and was wondering who the OT recommends? House is pre-wired for a system but I don't currently have a land line.

We use Acadiana security plus. No landline for us, either.

ive had both acadiana security plus and tyco. I have tyco now only because they are one of my customers and I got a brother in law deal. I would recommend either.

Thanks. One of my co-workers also recommended Acadiana Security Plus. What kind of monthly cost and initial install costs can I expect?

call and get a quote, there's so many different options now a days for home security it would be tough to give you a good estimate.

was with Argus, now bought by Acadian, division of Acadian Ambulance. They have done two homes and my office. They set it to use the internet to report, so no land line needed

I use Acadiana Security Plus at home , but have also heard good things about EPS

If you already have Cox then use them. Cheap as heck and great technology.

Acadiana security plus is probably the most common in the area. Land line isn't a problem, they can install a cellular modem (for a small fee of course!)
