CrossFit 4x a week
I CrossFit, weight lift and run. Still have to occasionally diet to keep weight right.
Got a lot of these hoggers the OP is talking about in the Crossfit classes. Roll out for 15 minutes and talk, half arse the warm up and then barely do the 10-25 minute WOD. They’ve been coming for years. Still fat. Still post about their workouts online and talk shite about other people being out of shape.
OP. How many bills was the chick who catfished you?

A guy with a weiner is pretending to be a girl without a weiner to mess with other guys who have weiners.

My life is a mix of enjoying fitness, working out, eating healthy but also being lazy, eating too much, and drinking too much.

Anyone who's working out 5+ times a week and isn't in good shape needs to up the intensity level of those workouts.
I'm not in particularly good shape, but I do work out from time to time, and when I do I'm sore for a day or two. (I guess I could do some completely different workout the next day, but I doubt that's what's happening with the people OP is thinking of.)

My ex ole lady ran a few 10k’s here in Vegas. They definitely had some fat hogs tapping out early.

Nah, I have a few kids and I’m thinner than most women half my age. I do work out, but I always have because I always played sports and danced. But that’s evident when you see me.
I love food, too, and having a bunch of really good cooks in my family does not help.

Has your ole lady been telling you she’s going to the gym 5 days a week and not losing weight? If so, it may not be the gyms fault. She’s likely going somewhere else during that time.

The average American woman now weighs as much as an average American man in the 1960s. And it’s not like the average height has significantly increased either.
But men are also increasingly becoming fatter

quote:quoting because more people need to understand this. I see people busting their asses at the gym but never losing weight because they eat like shite. Even worse, people so overestimate the impact of exercise on weight loss, that they overeat even more because they think they can just work it off on the elliptical.
Work out all they want, but weight loss happens in the kitchen.
Don't get me wrong. Exercise can (and should) play a role in weight loss, just not as large a role as a lot of people think.

Never hate on overweight people for working out. If they just started, then great they need to be encouraged. If they've been at it a while, then maybe they have a thyroid or other issue that makes them carry extra weight; in that case don't be a jerk to them.

Yes exactly - walk a mile within 18 minutes and you burn about 100-110 calories
A snickers bar wolfed down in 10 seconds is about 240 calories (I think) and add a coke (140 -??) - that mile dindunuffin
