I had a friend say they have a “full blooded golden doodle”. I told him he sounded like an idiot because that’s literally impossible. His wife has him by the balls

Honest question: If you have a 2nd generation or later would that be called “full blooded”? What about 10th Gen.

When you live in the trashiest place on earth you can form that assumption.

Sounds like a reflection of many modern day Americans.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is the best dog there is. Hands down.

Like the Jack Russell and every other fad dog, the breed will be overbred and diminished in quality.

FIFY

Family member had a few

They were pure bred
They were sweet
They were lovable

That said they were the dumbest dogs I have ever been around.

I fear for the breed as they are borderline trendy. I just rescue an apartment Aussie -- she loves being a country dog. She has a very different personality than my other Aussie.

Happy to see the German shorthaired on the list.

High energy. Great dog.

My golden doodle is on another level though, smartest dog I've ever owned.

Not bragging on the breed, it's a toss up, we had another doodle that was a complete dumbass.

You just described the lab…..

The truth is, most Americans should be buying French bulldogs, and not labs. Most people buy labs to be yard ornaments because they like the look of being outdoorsy etc. The pct that actually uses them as intended is extrmely low.

Where as a French bulldog is nothing more than a lap house dog. So at least it’s getting it’s intended use

I think they were over bred for the English Royals, dumb dog for some equally dumb monarchs.

They are very cute and have really soft coats tho!

Must be the big ears and the low intellect made them popular

Never saw a black one but apparently they are black too
