Friend,

Your virtual hug is the closest to human contact I’ve had today. Again, thank you. May God bless and protect you and your family and any friends you might have made in your important travels here or in the country whose name we are not supposed to say.

Yours,
TulaneLSU

The 6 deaths at the Lambeth House were all male.

I think it’s important we remember being male is a risk factor with this disease. Thank you for reminding us.

All men. 3 of them were doctors.

did not know 6 of the 20 La. deaths were from one nursing home.

And likely several more to come from there.

Anyone know how the virus was introduced there?

So about 17 of every 100,000 population or 1 in every 6,000 in Louisiana have tested positive so far.

Where will this number ultimately end up?

30? 50? More?

Assuming the group that hasn't been tested has the same infection rate. Which seems unlikely.

I'm still looking to Hokus and his thread as the likely culprit.

None of Italian decent either, as far as I know. Not a lot of paisans in Comus.

Are they all coming from one wing of the facility?

Are there any at least preliminary conclusions they can draw about residents that are recovering or even being outright skipped?

(Outliers is my point)

If you understand statistics so well, surely you understand exponential growth.

Indubitably.

Did you happen to read the initial part of my post? This is not pontificating for one side of the argument or the other regarding severity, but merely a way to present what the actual numbers are from the state agency in charge of them.

Hence, saying you can read into them what you will...

I did read the initial part of your post, as well as the rest of it. And I agree that there’s value in looking at the data you’ve shown.

I suppose what I find misleading is that it doesn’t include time. Increasing exponentially is extremely powerful. It’s why we invest in stocks. Leaving out time is ignoring a major part of the story, influencing the readers to “read into it” without all the data points.
