Good for the AG’s office for holding him accountable but I can’t help but laugh at this. Of ALL the wrongdoings our politicians do, this is what they get one of them for

Why don't they arrest him for stealing it, and promise to let him out, 1 year after the return of the state's property? Eating gruel and sleeping on a cot may perk his memory up.

Lots of loopholes worked in that these politicians exploit. Theft is pretty straight forward though.

Schexnayder said someone at his request notified someone from the state that he had the board as he was leaving office. He wouldn’t identify either person.

“I’m not going to go and start blurting out names,” Schexnayder said. “That’s not who I am.”

When I first saw this story I thought that it was dumb to indict him if all they could prove was the board turned up missing, but nobody could prove he took it. But then when you look at this quote from him, it's really odd isn't it. Makes me think he knows a lot more than he's let on.

Do they still have GED programs in prison? Maybe he can take this experience and make something of himself.

Yea my guess is it's a table. All they have to do is go to the different wood working places in ascension parish and ask.
