I saw 2 different people yesterday use L.A. for Louisiana and am now seeing L A for Los Angeles, and generally see this a lot. Is there something I should be informed with?

CBSN-LA has great late night highway chases with copter cam and PIT maneuvers.
Tonight's was a low speed in Crenshaw, with about 8 laps round the same Fatburger..
You'd swear homie ordered a Baby Fat and Maui Shake, and was trying to pick it up before being cuffed.
