Your posts are arguing that someone could have a reasonable belief that Kyle was an active shooter because of things they didn't see.
When someone pulls a toy gun or other object from their clothing, a police officer is often justified in using deadly force even where it turns out they were incorrect about the perceived threat.
Someone can form an objectively reasonable belief of a threat and also be wrong.

That's what I'm saying. It takes one baw on that jury to dig his heels in and say he's not budging on acquittal.
From what I read, the voir dire found that something like 15 of the original 20 jurors has experience using firearms. You can't tell me that out of those 15, there wasn't one who laughed to themselves when a prosecutor said there was no such thing as a left handed rifle. That after watching their community get burned down by anarchists, they'd send a kid to prison with the mountain of exculpatory evidence behind him. I know some people get scared and kowtow, but I have more faith in the ones who don't.
I hope I'm right.

The not guilty's likely caved on the lesser charges. That's why we lose.

I don’t think there’s any amount of fear or threats that could make me vote guilty after seeing the facts presented.
Just couldn’t do it.
Just couldn’t do it.

I don’t have any kids, so there’s no way in hell I’d convict.

quote:Agreed. It all comes down to the first guy killed. If he was justified in using force there, and I think he was, then there can be no question about the next two he shot.

Is it innocent? Or are you just saying that?
