This is where the small government conservatives come in and say that anyone protesting the anthem or flag deserves violence or jailtime.

Good for her?
Some of you really have some baffling anti-1A opinions.

Incidents like the UPS shooting make me wonder if the folks kneeling would get more support if they didnt make it solely about people of color.
It's not hard to see the quality of LEO is becoming a national issue.

quote:Correct. It’s none of your business how someone else silently observes the anthem. The anthem isn’t an opportunity for you to be a hall monitor.
So when the media shows someone kneeling during the anthem in a 5 second clip on TV you are wanting people to stop what they are doing and act like they are there live for the anthem and not pay attention to what the 5 second attention whoring clip is showing?

People can take a knee if they want. You don’t own America.

don't think you get the concept of democracy. Some things are bad in America, some things are rad. You fight to change the bad to make America an even better place to live.
How don’t people understand this??? the national anthem just as American as taxes ... most people hate taxes but their not told they should leave the country if they hate taxes so much... people pick and choose what they want to stand for...

The media and political class use police shootings to advance identity politics instead of treating it is a serious issue to be reviewed and resolved.

I don't like the Star Spangled Banner being played at every single sporting event. We have a voluntary and well-compensated military. Their "thank you" is a paycheck.
I do think children should say the Pledge of Allegiance every morning at public school. The rest of us aren't children, though, and Kennesaw State students pay tuition. Nobody should be prodding them to stand up for anything.
All that said, this isn't worth $145,000.

Well-compensated according to whom?! Hate to even be associated with someone who would post that, even if by alma mater. I worked more hours in a weekend shift than a lot of folks work in a work week. And who tf is asking for a thank you? The kneeling bs is drama queens needing attention. Lots of folks have died for that flag/anthem and those ninnies right to kneel, so at least have the respect to stand for the anthem. You want to protest police brutality, fine, but how exactly is that protesting police brutality?
