It’s funny that some are known that way. Not alll are equal .

It’s worse at many I have the misfortune of going to. A smallish Kroger closed down near me a year or so ago, nothing has filled that space. It was a trash hole.

The Kroger Company is the largest supermarket operator in the U.S. by revenue and the country's fifth-largest general retailer. The company is one of the largest American-owned private employers in the United States.Additionally, Kroger is ranked No. 25 on the Fortune 500 rankings of the largest U.S. corporations by total revenue. Some sources list the company as a dividend-paying stock.
Other brands are under the Kroger umbrella, including Harris Teeter, Foods 4 Less, and King Soopers.
IOW, Kroger is fricking huge.

Do not comprehend that a typical checkout line with a conveyor belt can fastly move more items than one at a time scanning at a self checkout?
Especially when you have the register person & another bag person working in tandem?

Then there are the mental midgets who insist on taking their fully loaded down shopping cart, probably $150 - 200 of goods at least, in the fast - self check out lane. And there's more than 1 a-hole doing this, of course. There's only 6 registers for self check out, so of course there's a line 5 + deep just waiting on them.
I do this and take my sweet arse time.
Maybe bitch at the store management for
Only having two registers open

You’re an inconsiderate F tard who takes longer to check out while also making others wait longer as well .
Good on you? I guess.

After 10 minutes of waiting, I get up to the front of the line and sure enough, that register is wide open, green light, ready to use NONE of the 3 idiots in front of me even noticed.
Look at me, fixing your problem using my words.

It’s called ‘Kay-Roger’ around these parts.

dont have those problems at rouses

As stated, I was three or four people back. My view was obstructed of the register in question so I wasn’t 100% sure it was available, other than nobody was using it. Had I been the person right behind, obviously I would’ve pointed it out.
But neither the two people behind the one upfront nor the two employees there were aware enough to clue in on the holdup.
Just a bunch of low effort humans doing low effort things.

A big issue with time is the shopping apps. People are shopping for 3 people orders on apps like Instacart.

Kroger is the lowest tier grocery chain in ATL besides your ghetto stores like Food Depot or a soup kitchen.
The one in Smyrna near my old house got shut down for a couple of weeks because of a roach infestation.

The one near my house is a geriatric ward. HEB crushes them here in Texas

She (op) does not want you to fix her problem, she just wants you to listen and care about her struggles.

Confused you are, about a great many things.

This scenario grinds my freaking gears:
Woman (usually black) gets out of car talking on phone, gets cart and starts going up and down the aisles shopping while never hanging up, spends 20-30 minutes shopping while (you guessed it) still talking.
Goes to check out, yep still on the same call, pays, walks out and gets back in car without ever hanging up.
WHAT THE frick IS SO IMPORTANT
