Thank you. I don’t get up early enough to hear OTB unless I wake up early for no reason. I don’t think TBob is dumb. He just acts like he is 16 or 17 years old. It could be his voice. Idk.

it's definitely TBob oozing his white guilt and shaming Baton Rouge sports fans with his moral superiority over the last 2 weeks.

She wasn’t “canceled“ because of any of the recent happenings regarding police or race relations. Word is that her significant other was suing the Baton Rouge police department or chief about a promotion issue. She was also investigating the Baton Rouge police. Allegedly, WAFB said she was too close to law-enforcement to objectively do her job. So they found a way to let her go.

WVUE is a sister station to WAFB so they share content.
They share the same parent company. Gray Television. That allows them to share content and talent between stations.
Gray owns stations in nearly every market in the state of Louisiana, except for Lafayette if I remember correctly. And for some reason, they will share content with KATC who is now owned by Scripps.

Harvard summed that up pretty well.

Do I even need to ask if it was replaced with another brand new car?

I hope she comes to a NOLA station
She's WAY too good to be wasted in NOLA. We really just need to let that shithole go the way of the dodo. The whole place is a cesspool of epic proportions, propped up by stupid tourists and the rest of the state.

You know it was. Honestly, he probably didnt like the first one and intentionally damaged it to get a newer one.

Wife (no pics) is now on a crusade to boycott watching WAFB at our house now. I guess we are stuck watching the half arse 33 or 44 news. I can’t handle the drunks of WBRZ. I may have to invoke the insurrection act on the homestead.

From what I’ve read and gathered, she was zipped b/c WAFB got pressure from the Mayor and Chief of Police?
An elected official & appointed official using their office to influence a private company?
Is that even legal bro?

No idea, but it worked and wasn't challenged.

Wow. If one of the top news providers in the area allowed the mayor and COP to force the termination of one of their top investigative reporters, then I completely support the boycott and pushback against WAFB.
frick them! I've pretty much relied on WAFB news to keep up with news in BR area although I don't live there anymore but all my family does. I hate the Advocate and now I guess I hate WAFB too.
That really sucks to hear they caved to Broome and Paul. Disgusting.
