I remember back in the day my brother worked for Entergy might have been when it was LP&L. They had some stuff that would drop a wasp from about 20 feet. They wouldn't fly a little more then die like the stuff I use now. They would just drop straight down. I loved that stuff then of course later on he couldn't get it anymore. I'm sure the Gov was involved.

I have battled red wasps for 10 years at my house. They were literally in every return on my house, nest in shrubs and every hole they could find. It got to the point where I couldn't even clean flower beds. I had a friend come over who works for a pest control company. He dusted them with Tempo 1% dust. I haven't seen a wasp since. I even bought more dust, a bellow duster and the 12' extension pole on Amazon. It's actually weird not seeing wasps anymore.
