the stone will stay in your bladder for a bit after it passes through the ureter (where the pain comes from) ... you probably should've had a sensation of not completely emptying your bladder before it passed into the ureter and you will have the same feeling while it's in your bladder ... you will probably feel it when it passes out while peeing ...

this is anecdotal evidence ...

When I get one it usually feels like either my left or right testicle is being squeezed in a vice. It may be a large stone, I suggest a loritab, Flomax and lots of coors light.

Physicians recommend drinking beer to help pass.

Seriously.

When mine moved into my bladder it felt like a mule was kicking me in the nuts. While it was in the kidney and moving forward I was the the fetal position. I've had them 5 times. Mine were sodium based. I have reduced the amount of sodium in my diet and drink alot of water and beer. It's been 4 years since my last stone. Good luck

It took my stones a little while to pass. I drank this concoction of olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey and lemon juice one night. Very first piss the next morning I pissed them out. Could of been a coincidence

My wife had 2 large stones (10mm and 8mm) in the last year. Lithotripsy broke them enough to get them stuck in the ureter. She got a stent and had the laser procedure to get them to pass. She was absolutely miserable.

Once the stone hits the bladder the pain is over. Pissing it out feels kinda like spitting a loogie.
