I'd say be glad she is feeling better, but continue giving the Tamiflu as directed.

I'm not a doctor. Just reporting observations I see at work(peds nurse on children's unit at a hospital). Like I posted...we see a lot of flu. Lately I've cared for at least 1-2 children with the flu each shift I've worked since January.
I would never tell a parent to have their child stop taking a medication their doctor prescribed to them. You either trust your pediatrician or you do not. If OP is considering not giving the rest of the Tamiflu he should call the pediatrician's office and talk to them instead of asking about it here tbh. They will be of more help than the OT will.

Tamiflu is magic. I had a 104 temperature one day, took tamiflu the next day, went to the park the following day with my kid.
It may have had the same effect on your kid.
Edit: keep giving the medication to your kid unless directed by your physician.

Kids can act completely normal between fevers. If her temp is normal, she may run around and play like she normally does. When she spikes a fever, she will likely get lethargic.
Just make sure she stays hydrated and use tylenol and motrin for her temps.

Likely it is a true positive for the flu. It's common that tamiflu work quickly, especially when you start it soon after first symptoms appear. Continue to take the tamiflu as directed and continue to keep her home and well rested for as long as dr advised. Be glad she is feeling better.

Kids just are tougher in general I think. My kid just had a "severe" (according to the doctor) double ear infection and he was like why didn't you bring her in sooner? I had no idea she was sick! She was running around like normal! We had actually brought her in for something else all together and he happened to look in her ears just as part of a normal exam.... Kids are just different when they're sick...

Here's how it goes....
If you give ibuprofen or Tylenol and they get better is a virus. It will help the symptoms and they will act fine until the meds wear off and crash hard. Try to keep her low key so the crash is more controlled.
If they do not get back to "normal" it's bacterial. They may not have fever but will feel like shite.
Go way to know the difference and whether or not to treat with antibiotics

The flu is viral. It is never bacterial.
Dr tested kid for flu and it was positive.

Yes I understand. I was just giving some FYI with regards to virus vs bacteria....
The kid can bounce around with a virus while the symptoms are suppressed with medication. When it wears off the crash will be harsh and fever will spike. The more they bounce around the worse the spike it seems.
I was just adding more info because a pediatric cardiologist gave us that little tidbit of info and it felt like an appropriate time to share it.
