While the confederate flag is not inherently racist, the vast majority of people who wave it absolutely are.

Anyone who would post a video like she did of her son being made fun of (real or not) is just attention whoring. Anyone with a brain should know full and well it’s not going to do anything to help the kid. Instead, kids are going to shite on him even worse for crying and needing his mom to run to Facebook. Anyone who thought the initial video was real is honestly kind of dumb and not aware of how today’s society works. 90% of the shite that’s on social media is bullshite.

I don't automatically assume a rebel flag means the person is racist. I do, however, assume they are ignorant and trashy and not someone I would want my kids around.

I don't think everyone who waves the Confederate flag is racist. I've always thought they were dumbasses. And they made for a quick, easy indicator.

She probably isn't, or at least isn't some devoted white supremacist. If she's bigoted, she's probably bigoted in the way a bunch of people in the south are - they're prejudiced or perhaps racist, but they interact with people like everyone else does, they don't drive around in pickups looking to commit hate crimes. So again, who gives a shite.
But what is fricked up are the people using this to invent stories about how the kid was actually bullied because he uses the N word and whatnot. That is the worst of what social media has to offer.

Yea, I don’t get the whole “but mom had a confederate flag” angle either as an argument. Are they saying that because mom is trashy, that the little white kid deserved to be bullied? Most of this story smells like bullshite, but assuming it is real;
Does that mean that If a little black kid’s Dad (lol) was in the black panthers, a bunch of little white kids would be justified in bullying or beating the shite out of the kid? No, the media would put that on blast. Why is it different when the bullied kid happens to be white?

yeah, that’s the danger. A flag. No one without a flag (that honestly looks cool as shite, from a design perspective) could be a bad influence. It’s the flag. How progressive of you.
