Karl Marx memorial vandalized for 2nd time in two weeks

This latest attack follows a "mindless" hammer attack on 4 February .
Friends of Highgate Cemetery Trust said the German philosopher's memorial would "never be the same again", after what it described as "a deliberate and sustained attack" earlier in the month.
There have been no arrests in connection with either attack.

It’s a shame that people only seem to know him because of his political predictions; that’s such a small part of his overall work. He is an incredibly important influence in the way we now view economics, history, law, and social science. His contention that most (if not all) events can and should be viewed and explained through an economic lens stands the test of time.

I'm a rabid anti-Marxist but not a fan of vandalizing Marx's grave at all. With that being said, the statue of Lenin is all kinds of fair game.
