I only told a woman this one time, and only after she cornered me and asked me point blank.

For the longest time I knew but took the 'it's not my business approach' but when she looked me in the eye and asked, I couldn't lie.

Not to attack you particularly, but I think the whole 'mind your own business' approach to issues that are obviously present is cowardly. Not to mention selfish.

When an issue is present, yes--absolutely.

You're walking. Old man in front of you falls down. You 'mind your own business' and walk right on by instead of stopping and taking the time to help someone out. That is selfish.
