Yea the handshake is a weird tradition. People are dirty as frick. I don’t really have a desire to touch every random person’s hand that just picked their nose, ear, picked food out of their teeth and scratched their swampy arse.
I’m going to keep shaking hands but that doesn’t mean I don’t think it’s a pointless tradition that I wouldn’t mind seeing die

I don’t deny a shake.
I just don’t initiate a shake unless it’s friends, family, or a major business deal.
Every other shake is an empty platitude. It doesn’t mean what it used to mean. No one gives their word with a handshake and means it anymore.

Seriously. Without going into details, there was this guy who would piss in the grass. Never wiped his hands and then go around shaking people's hand. This is pre-covid, like I said in my previous post. You never know what people do with their hands, if I can get away with a fist bump.. I prefer to fist bump.

I stopped shaking hands with people out in the field 9 years ago because they're all dirty motherfrickers and I kept getting sick. I May shake hands in an office or other professional setting, otherwise go frick yourself.

Why should the anti shakers have to explain themselves?
I think the pro shakers should have to explain why they want to touch someone’s random hand that has about a 50% chance that they just scratched their balls, picked in their a-hole, or had their fingers in their mouth. I want an explanation of why you have that desire?
