Well, you're living my recurring nightmare.
You're fricked as far as the final goes. Maybe your A was high enough and the final a small enough chunk to keep you from failing the class.

Obviously you have to break your own leg in multiple places, go to the ER, and pay them off to claim it happened this morning.

I remember senior year in Chem E, we had a final that was front and back of the page. Had to pass that final to graduate.
One dude turned his test in at the end of the period, and the professor turned it over to reveal a blank set of questions.
Dude raised hell.

I missed my last final of undergrad before graduating. I thought it was in the afternoon when it was really in the morning. It was a blow off class, and I had a strong enough A to where a 0 on the final only brought me down to a C. I didn't even bother contacting the professor because I thought she was a bitch and just took the C, one of 2 C's that I received as an undergrad.
Anyway, that's how I handled it when something similar happened to me. Good luck with getting the teacher to give you a retest.

You better have a good fricking excuse. I missed one once, but it was my very last final and I had a job interview the previous day where colossal thunderstorms cancelled all flights for the remainder of the day. Had to provide receipts, but he let me take it because I was about to graduate.

went to bed right after that. I do this every day and tend to have no problem waking up to my alarm at 7:15 (8 AM class.) I've never been so pissed off at myself this fricking sucks. He seems like a chill guy, and like I said I have an A.

Time to go through your school's student policy with a fine tooth comb to find the most obscure acceptable reason for missing a final, use it, and hope you don't get investigated.

Had something similar happen once.
The final was in the same room as the regular class, but the final was at 10:30, the regular class time was at 12:30. I guess I just mistook that being in the same room it would be at the same time and didnt double check. I showed up to take my test as the last person was handing theirs in.
I think he sensed the terror on my face and knew it was an honest mistake. He let me come back that afternoon and take the test in his lab.

Dude already emailed me back saying he is giving another section their test at 1:50 , and that I could just take it then. Well that was easier than I expected!
