Any local knowledge on what to expect with this storm in Old Mandeville? We just moved into a 3 story duplex north of Monroe St.

Wife works for ST Parish and has to stay in Covington Justice Center for work. They have a room there for us but it's two cots and 4 brick walls.

Thoughts?

If you are on Monroe, you are going to at least get some water.
I’d take the 3 hots and a cot

Everything south of Monroe street is dicey. Depending on where you are you definitely are at risk tho. Basically anywhere near where you are is the last place I’d want to be in Mandeville.

Mayor just called mandatory evacuation south on. How old is that place your renting? Concrete walls and a copy may not be a bad option.

I'd go with the one you think is the sturdiest structure baw and if it has a generator even more of a bonus.

Place is a couple blocks north of Monroe.

Maybe the 4 brick walls won't be so bad.
