I couldn't tell ya man I dont live in Alabama. My wisdom tooth was fine but I was flossing and I went in between my wisdom tooth and the floss got caught on my tooth somewhere and I tried to pop it out with a quick little jerk but it broke my tooth. It had to have had a tiny crack in it before that or something. No way it would break off like that with that little of force.

Just had a root canal done prior to Christmas. Root canals suck.

I don't think it takes a lot. I would smoke and rinse the shite out of my mouth after I did. It was probably very stupid in all seriousness, but luckily I didn't get it. I have heard that it is terrible pain, but I was fricked up on pain pills and weed the whole time

Agreed. As an OT Dentist (I don't know if that's a good thing or not...) I have lots of patients who I recommend just leaving them in there. Too many dentists pull them automatically. However, many are more prone to problems, so symptoms themselves should not be the only deciding factor.

Okay thanks for the advice. He wrote me for some narcos but I take subutex and it blocks any opiate so theres really no point in me even filling the prescription. So if I do get dry socket theres nothing to numb the pain lol.
I'm gonna decide against smoking a cigarette. Just dont want to risk that pain and hassle from dry socket.

No problem. Like someone else suggested, use this time to quit, and NEVER buy a pack again!! Such a terrible habbit.

Its only one wisdom tooth and it was the top one. The bottom ones are a lot worse to get extracted.

I know man.. I have the desire to quit. I really do. All the time I think about how I dont want to be a lifelong smoker and don't want to look 60 when I'm 40. Dont want the health problems either. I've seen what it does to multiple family members. Cigarettes should be illegal. When you really think about it its INSANE that people pay money for something that is so detrimental to a human being.

Yeah there's a lot of evil about tobacco that most aren't aware of - power wall, advertising, and early age products like candy ciggarettes that make it evil. I've smoked since my teens and have tried to quit many times. My problem is that 1 more, after stopping, won't hurt. Yeah, that's not true

I got all four of mine taken out 7 years ago when I was in college. I drank and ripped cigs 8 hours after the surgery and over the weekend and didn’t get dry socket.
That is just my experience though.

People are free to put whatever they want into their body. It's not illegal to be high on heroin or any other drug. But if you're driving then it's a problem. If you have the physical substance on you then that's illegal.

I doubt we'd be any different than we are now. We'd just have a less stressed criminal justice system and less drug related crime.
Psychedelics should, at minimum, have special provisions under "religious use". Another absurd prohibition.

Sigh..... stories like these make me look at my pack of josephelagos and weep. I feel like I would get dry socket by taking one single hit of a cig. That's just my luck

If meth was legal and ridiculously plentiful then in 20 years the quality of our country in every facet would diminish. No doubt in my mind about that at all.
