In the future tuck pants into boots and shirt into pants. Have someone (spouse) do a full tick check when you get home, ticks often spend hours looking for a good spot.
IMO, if you are an outdoorsman, trim your pubic hair in the spring, nothing worse than hunting for ticks and trying to remove them if you haven't trimmed.
