Damn. Talk about a depressing place. It basically looks like an extension of Baker. I feel sorry for the people who are forced to live there

So you covered the whole area or just drove down Hooper Road and formulated this opinion?

Yeah but open a pickup truck dealership there and you’ll be a rich man.

Does it matter? Pretty sure the end result is the same.

There are some very nice areas in Central. It was a relatively rural suburb until they incorporated. Unfortunately that area was hit by the flood pretty badly. Village at Magnolia Square has 500k-1M homes. Several new or recent developments with 300k+ and up homes. The 2nd highest rated school district in the state.

But hey, OP drove down a few streets there once

Central desperately wants to be recognized as a town. It is kind of pathetic. Where exactly is main street in Central? The Circle K?

My God. I just can’t fathom being dumb enough to spend a million dollars to live in Central.

Well it is technically a town. They have a Mike Anderson's, Sammy's and a Stab's Steakhouse

The town center is probably Wax at Sullivan now. At least that's probably the center of most of the more recent development.

There's a lady that made like 20 million on a company that specialized in adult fun parties that lives in that neighborhood. I used to know one of her employees She sold it to a larger company and made bank.

Different strokes for different folks I guess. Some people prefer the burbs (myself included).

I just refuse to deal with the traffic with a kid in school so we live close to work in BR.

No doubt. I 100% agree. My bad for knocking Central.

It’s not for me, but more power to anyone who enjoys living there.

Laugh at Central, but they went out, organized, created their own small city and now have their own schools. People can see what's going on and can drive to BR easily.

They have some advantages.
