Good cause that’s BS.
That’s how companies end up worse. The experience behind a hire like that is important.

Not the same but a somewhat similar story.
Good buddy of mine was a long time Key Account Manager for a very large rental company. He shows up for his semi-annual "state of the union" meeting with one of his big (and long time) accounts in Houston. As in the past, he brings his boss (Regional Sales VP) with him. When they show up there is a new mid-level person in charge of purchasing. This person is of the opposite gender and is a minority. She point blank told them to come back when there was a diverse representation in their regional and national sales staff. My buddy ends up getting moved to another Key Account and was none to happy about all the work he had put into the account over the years.

Very believable. And if I were him I would be demanding a cut of any commission the new person got over that.

Meh. This is discrimination law working as it should. They proved he was fired for his race and gender, not for poor performance.
